MCHFH Heart-of-Christmas Gift Program

Midland County Habitat for Humanity’s Heart-of-Christmas Gift Program brings back the true meaning of Christmas by offering an opportunity to give to someone in need. Church groups, businesses and other organizations are encouraged to sponsor a Heart-of-Christmas program for members, customers or employees. It’s a great gift idea for the person who has everything or for large group gifts!

We’ll provide everything needed:

• A small artificial tree to set on a counter or table.
• Several Heart-of-Christmas ornaments.
• Gift list.
• A written explanation of the program to post nearby or include in a bulletin or newsletter.

Donors select from a list of different items ranging in price from $10 to $3,000. Donors receive a small ornament, which they can wrap and give to a friend, family member or coworker for Christmas. The ornament indicates that a gift has been given to MCHFH in the recipient’s name.

Proceeds from the program help buy building materials for future Habitat partner families. The following is a small sampling of available gift items:

• $10 – 10 foundation blocks.
• $25 – electric wiring.
• $50 – window.
• $75 – wall.
• $100 – door.
