Volunteer Activities
Midland County Habitat for Humanity welcomes volunteers of all ages, races, nationalities, religious affiliations and economic levels. Although liability concerns prevent us from allowing minors under the age of 14 on building sites during construction, they are welcome to help with non-construction related activities. Some tasks require licensed contractors or skilled volunteers. Other tasks can be learned on the job. For a brief description of the types of volunteer opportunities available, please see below.

"What I enjoy most when building a habitat house is the fun we have as a crew. The guys on the building crews have become some of my closest friends. And although you can only build one house at a time, it doesn't take long for that effort to make a real difference for many people."
